This is my first day of being able to write anything. So this is day 16 on atkins and I have lost a total of 10 lbs. I have not had any empty carbs since i started and i can not say I miss it. My mind misses it but my body doesn't. I am going to allow myself 3 cheat days in June. My camping trip, I need to have smores and a food show im going to and my cousins babyshower. Im not going to go all willy nilly but I'll have some fruit. I need to start walking on the tredmill again. I walk every evening for 30 or more mins but I feel like it is not enough. I also need to start weight lifiting a little again. There is no excuse for why i havent been using the tredmill or weights we have, but i sure could think of 100 excuses lol. Well back to work I go. :( Only 4 more hours!

I did the Atkins diet several times in the past and always lost weight on it, and pretty quickly. Times when I would cheat and go off of it I'd also get some unpleasant digestive changes to accompany the stopping/starting/stopping of higher carb levels but others I've known who've been on Atkins weren't affected that way. Hopefully it won't affect you badly. Congratulations on your success and best wishes for more of it!
