Amrossi13's Journal, 11 March 2009

Ok so I have been hitting the gym 2 hours a day, and following the diet fairly well, weight is coming off I can see that on the scale, I just don't FEEL it.

I am not feeling my clothes fit better, I am not seeing any changes in myself. Maybe I am insane I don't know, but when i look at myself in the mirror with nothing on I still see the jiggly grossness that makes me want to work harder.

I keep watching the biggest loser and seeing the before pictures and then where they are now in a short time, and I know I had no where near to lose what they did, but they also had a trainer. I wish I could afford one who would motivate me to step up my game.

I have a kick ass playlist that I use on the cardio end of things, and when I take the Zumba class, which burn 1000 calories in an hour and is sooo much fun, but when I am doing the circuit machines and the weights I am like blah.

Any suggestions??

Give it time. All our bodies are different. You might be losing the fat in places where you don't really notice it. You will eventually see a difference. All that work is going to show up eventually. Other people can probably see a difference. Great job!

Also, if the clothes you were wearing were tight before (in your about me on your profile you said you were constantly adjusting, pulling and sucking in your stomach) it might be that they're just now starting to fit the way they should so it's less noticeable to you, but probably more noticeable to the people around you.

Thanks guys ;-) I hope so. I also honestly think I may be one of those people with that semi-twisted issue of seeing worse in the mirror than what may actually be there when it comes to my body, but I KNOW what I had before, and I was stacked and I want it back!!

Sometimes it's hard to re-adjust your image of yourself. I mean, you're still the same person, right? But it looks like you're doing great, so keep it up!
