Whoa! I had a great day today! I got a perfect amount of mini meals in, ranging from HB egg to jalapeño poppers (because it’s Friday and I made them in the oven). I’m in full blown nesting and I’m pushing my physical limits by completing my home projects. DH is starting to get the memo, even though he can only think about fishing. I’m enlisting the help of my Danish mother who knows how to motivate him and how to help me out. I feel like things are finally getting done and I’m getting a lot more comfortable with the baby coming in the next month anytime.

I’m over in calories today, even for pregnancy. But I’m usually under so it doesn’t matter. Who knows, maybe tomorrow I only keep down popsicles and toast again. I ordered my postpartum wardrobe, and my Jean size is going to be an 18 once swelling goes down. My goal is to be a 14 on the next 6 months. Ambitious and doable. Until then, I am trying to maintain my current weight. Has anyone ever been really hell bent over maintaining your weight vs gaining during pregnancy? I’m just getting to my finish line and I’m just at 24 pounds gained. C r a z y!!!!
