Fat Secret had me eating 2700 calories a day. I thought that was just way too much. I wasn't losing anything. I'm trying to stay closer to 1700 on weekdays and 2000 on weekends. Is that bad? I don't think it's unreasonable. I'm also working out. Right now, only 3 times a week, but I'm hoping to increase that as time goes on. I'm on week 4 and have only lost 4.6 pounds. I'm doing something wrong!! It doesn't make sense. This is what discourages me every time!

Don't get discouraged! I know it's tough not to, but try to stay positive. My RDI seemed high so I bumped it down too. Also, I eat more on the weekends too and still see results. Just stay committed to the program and you'll see progress soon! Good luck!

It can be hard to find the number that works best for your body. If you aren't losing at 1700 calories you may need to increase your calories, especially if you are working out. Your body wants more fuel. I agree that 2700 calories seems too high though. It's trial and error in the beginning but you'll get it soon :)
