HiNinerMom91 - I tried low carb earlier this year. I thought I was doing great. The weight was coming off. However, I permanently had a funny metallic taste in my mouth which no amount of water and brushing could get rid of..... I could just about tolerate that and then my hubby told me that I was smelling and it turned him right off (understandably!!) so I "had" to stop right away..... I was mortified (about the smell, not coming off the diet!) Now I've accepted that I have to eat more carbs and lose weight slower. At least I wont pong!
I don't think everyone smells while on low carb. I think it affects people differently but ask someone close to you and then you'll know for sure x Good Luck x
