I think that I'm getting better results from full body training than anything else I've tried. I've never been this big overall. My legs, arms, etc all measure bigger than they ever have. I thought that in 2006 or so, I was at my peak but it looks like it's actually now. A lot of lifters hit muscles 1-2 times a week but I think natural lifters will do better with less volume per workout with a higher frequency. If you think about people with large muscles who don't lift like really heavy people with large calves, big burly(lol) farmers, people with big forearms who do continuous manual labor, etc, they don't take 5+ days off from working their muscles, so why do people who lift? For anyone who is curious, I am about 24 years old in the top pic and 205 pounds and 39 years old and 215 pounds on the bottom. Hopefully, I can keep making progress into my 40s. My friend, Lord Torgo(his name on this site) actually took the picture on the left. Good times.

Funny enough, I've come full circle. Me and Torgo would make fun of ourselves just years ago because we'd bench every day. Now I'm like, no wonder my chest was my best body part back then.

Thanks, 1point, now let's see how much I can hold onto while getting as lean as I am in the profile pic and beyond.

Yeah cutting is always bitter sweet for me. I love to see the fat go but inevitably I lose some swoll and muscle too. But in your case there's so much size there nobody but you notices.

Diablo, I have been using small barbells and a small kettle bell for the past year during my weight loss journey - each morning when I get ready for work. I just do curls, tricep extensions and pushups from the countertop. I also have a small kettle bell and do the basic swing. I'm happy with my arms but I need to add an exercise or two to tone my back. Any recommendations?

Good advice, thanks. Like Larilyn, I do what I can with what I have at home, but it's not enough.

Nice comparison photos! What you wrote makes perfect sense. I lost my arm muscle definition after my babies didn't need to be carried, so I blame them! 😁😠😉💪🚫

Thanks Mermee, unfortunately I am not twice as strong lol.

Larilyn, you'd need some kind of pulling motion. Maybe try left knee and hand on the couch while pulling the kettlebell with the right arm and then switch.

Missed your post. I thought that top pic was the best. LOL. :) I think I am doing better with the full body, too but will need to give it a little more time to tell. Thanks for the best advice. 🏋🏻♂️💪🏻👍

Pretty sure he's in good shape now. He got pudgy after a major heart surgery a while ago. What's fat got to do with stretch marks? Lol
