I only lose weight when I not eating any carbs. This is hard. I'm not sure how long I can stick to such a strict diet. Any ideas?
176.0 lb Lost so far: 8.0 lb.    Still to go: 6.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Low carb alternatives and keto substitutes. Carbs are a addicting good and easily unhealthy for some of us. Choose your health and forget it 9 times out of 10

Any carbs? I eat a smaller amount and make the most of it. Use many different sources and recipes and have some fun with it.

I find low carb diets hard when dining out and entertaining at home.

That is absolutely true Mary...At home I usually make food that works for me but going out or being invited over I usually make exception days. I may eat my food at home and go for smaller portions if it is too often It has worked fine for me doing that... But maybe if you find yourself too angry at the diet you could look into a plan that you find more agreeable for you

Make it a Life style change , Way of Eating, and don't feel guilty about a occasional CARB, You will need some carbs for a carb refeed DAY !

I eat lots of carbs, mostly fruit and vegetables. I do CICO and eat about 1500-1600 calories a day (when I'm eating correctly), so I have no restrictions as long as my meals fit into my RDI. Each of us has to find a WOE that works for us long-term.

I’ve found keto level carbs sustainable only for short periods. Not just in losing wt but not to mess up my digestive system. Your body can “forget” how to digest carbs so when do eat constipation & gut pain can occur. I’ve been not eating rice, pasta, potatoes or any bread except zero carb bread & ole tortillas at 50 Cals & 15 carbs for months. But once a week, usually day after weigh in I eat pasta or potatoes or bread for one meal so I can still digest them. Also carbs in most foods. High or low their there. Good luck! Gotta find what works for you.We’re all different. 🍀

If you can't stick to a WoE it will never work. Carbs don't have any special properties that allow your body to run more efficiently. Total energy intake is what matters. Eat within your RDI while enjoying some carbs.
