So... I started back on this diet a little over a week ago. I lost about 3 lbs and then my daughter started getting REALLY fussy. She literally cried all day last Friday and would barely eat or sleep. Well, I looked into her symptoms and it looks like she may have reflux. She has all but one of the signs of it. Since I'm breastfeeding, there is a list of foods that I can't have (or shouldn't have) that would help with her reflux if I didn't have them. I can't have any milk products (including cheese), oats, or hardly any of the fruits and vegetables. Well, that covers almost all of the things on Phase I and basically leaves very few things that I can eat.

Therefore, it looks like I won't be able to do this diet for a while... unless she outgrows the reflux or I stop breastfeeding. BTW.. I plan on breastfeeding her until she's 1 year old. Who knows though.... maybe since I have a limited diet and I'm not allowed to have any fatty foods, I'll lose the weight. We'll see. Good luck to everyone else tho.

Hang in there...there is so much more that you can do with the diet. Working out and cutting your portions is a very good thing too. Hope the baby gets to feeling better soon! By the way, the Wii Fit is the BOMB! I have done nothing but that for the last week and I feel great and it definitely does a good work out! There is so much you can do and be comfortable in your own home! I recomend it very much! Hope all goes well with things! Best of luck!

I hate to hear that your little girl may have reflux. That can't be fun for her...or you for that matter!! Just focus on her right now and everything else will work out on its own. Being that you won't be eating a lot of fatty foods, you'll probably still lose.
