I met with my personal trainer at the gym for the first time. I'll admit that I was a little nervous, since I'm still pretty new to the whole workout experience. But she was a total sweetheart, and around my age so I wasn't intimidated or felt the need to impress her. She showed me how to use the different weight resistance machines- so much fun!! I can't wait to start using them on my own a few times a week. Decided to bump up my gym routine, with 4 sessions of cardio (probably just half an hour or so of power walking on the treadmill- I'm not one for running!) and 2 sessions of weight resistance training per week...school schedule allowing (we're getting to the super-stressful end of classes D:)
Part of my first meeting with her was a beginning fitness evaluation. I was pleasantly surprised and very happy that my stats are all falling in the "healthy" range! Wish I had done something like that at the start of my weight loss journey so that the difference could be seen :)
