We're getting family pictures taken today. Hubby, me, and the pups. We thought about taking the cat but realized we didn't want to get attacked in the process. Little miss diva is easily spooked. She wasn't always that skittish but I guess moving can do that to a cat. Especially 2 long distance moves.

I'm wear jeans and a beautiful royal blue blouse that I picked up from Wal*Mart. My gal pal Dani is doing my hair. We decided to go the extensions route. I'm borrowing her extensions and she's going to curl my hair to look like Jennifer Love-Hewitt's in The Ghost Whisper. I've never watched the show but I've seen the commercials. It should look good. I love having friends in the beauty biz!

I've been bad lately. For the most part, I've been sticking with my diet but I bought a can of creme brulee almonds. The problem isn't with eating them. It's with having a few here and there to where I am not keeping track. Shame on me, especially when I'm doing so well on here!!

Yesterday morning I weighed in at 220.4. This morning I was at 216.4. No real loss though. I definitely didn't get the workout in that I prefer. I got up earlier than normal and ended up working out with hubby. His workouts are intense but they aren't what I want or need. He looks really good though! He's lost a good portion of his fat. His belly went from a keg to an almost 6-pack. It's awesome to see the changes. We're guessing he started at about 265-268 at the beginning of the year and is now hovering around 191. That's pretty impressive!

I don't compare myself to him. For one thing, he's 6'2". The male body is different all around too. I'm really proud of his success and I'm glad he's enjoying it too. My progress is much slower and I've gotten to the point to where I'm okay with that. I know the slower I take it off, the more likely it is to stay off. I started the year at 245, then I was 239 on March 1st, and now, I'm at 216. That's more than 10% of my weight lost! No small feat!

Mahatma Ghandi said "Be the change you want to see in the world." I think I'd like to see the world a bit thinner and much more healthy!
