Josie Ann's Journal, 30 September 2013

I think the logging training wheels are coming off as of today. Tracking what I eat for these past 10 months or so has made all the difference, but like everything else in life: it all must come to an end. However, if I see my weight creeping back up; I will get back on that tracker faster than you can say butterball! I need to be able to maintain my weight now without the help of tracking my food everyday, and I'm confident I know my portions pretty well. So, I will continue to weigh in and read what my fellow FS buddies are up to; as some of you continue to inspire me, but my daily food and activity logging is finished unless I totally screw up maintaining my weight.

Stay faithful to being healthy and mindful my FS friends and I wish you all a good week!

Good for you - I bet you'll see a drop in weight at first trying to be sure you're not going over and then a maintenance. Sometimes I think about resuming the logging as I've been same weight over 60 days but so far I haven't. I don't know that I want to lose weight bad enough to eat less than I do now, I guess.

Hey kiddo - I know 'losing' is never a worry (until we're 90 and NEED it, haha) but I found my first month of not logging I lost weight because I was so over aware to 'not' eat I was under eating. THAT or .. maybe without the diary to remind me of how much 'more' calories I had available, I was finally eating for hunger only. I bet you're going to be great.
