This entry could not have come at a better time for me, I was about to post one just like it! :-) Although I'm very sorry to hear about your slump, I'm glad to know I'm not the only one going through it.

I'll bet that if you compare your pre-journey health with today's health, you will see what wonderful things you've done for yourself! You are setting yourself up for a longer, happier, more productive life by treating your body with respect. Maybe you just need to cut back a little on the exercise until you get motivated again. Re-read your old journals and look at all you've accomplished! Don't throw in the towel, twin. You need to do this for yourself and we need you for inspiration! Rest up and reflect - but don't give up!

That goes for you, too, kalliflower!

I agree with AmryK!! Seriously. If you need a little break to meditate you evaluate and inspire yourself do it! We all need our batteries recharged and we cannot keep going and going all the time. Just make sure you hop back in the wagon when you are done self-reflecting.

Re-plan and regroup, YOU can do it! :) Getting geared up is key, if you don't plan to succeed then you plan to fail. You know how to do it!! Keep on rockin' that boat! :)

I, too, agree with the above. Keep hanging in there!! We all go through these slumps. Tough it out and do what you gotta do!

PS: Think about what the alternative is if you don't get back on track! We don't want that, right??! IT IS WORTH IT. YOU ARE WORTH IT! :D

I, too, know how you're feeling....I'll record my lowest weight tom morning.....but honestly, from May until a month ago.....I'm confident I would have qualified for the *yo-yo* effect of simply maintaining......a couple weeks of good focus.....a week to undo it all.....on and on.....I'm hoping I've broken that cycle and can move on to some major losses over the winter.....and even if I do the same thing next spring and summer......maintain the losses.....I'll will be ahead of where I was just a bit over a year ago.......YOU've worked to hard to come this far.....and give it up.....Glad to hear you're working on refocusing......Re-joining the gym is a FABULOUS idea darlin'.......hugggggies.....miss ya!

Ive noticed that everyone is in a slump and think it has to do with the season and shorter days. We need to plug in some new light bulbs and get that summer attitude back. Easier said than done. A break is okay as long as its to regroup and not to quit. You have come soooo far to stop now would be criminal.

Listen to your twin! Listen to all of your friends! We know what's best for you. We care about you. We know you have worked too hard to slip up now. You don't want me to get out that rubberband! Ha!
