Weight did drop today--a dramatic 2 pounds..from the running and low carbing and increased water intake from yesterday. It could also be the water weight from the last week or so.

Today was good overall, just didn't do the workout in the morning, but did do it in the evening, so it's all good. I've been feeling very thirsty all day long, despite drinking water continuously...don't know if that's coz of the increased protein and fiber intake and lowwered carbs?

I was also feeling quite tired and slight body aches..could be from the lack of, and inconsistent sleep.

Running: 40 mins, 1.5 mins interval (6-7 total) at 5 mph, and walking at 3.8 mph, 4.5 incline. 335 k burned. Was tired towards the end so didn't push for the final interval. Wanted to do weights, but didn't feel like after all..

MEals have been on track, with carbs count low and ww pts in check. Fiber content is high, and have been drinking water immediately after.

Meals: (carbs, pts)
veggie patty (3, 2)
egg white omelette (1, 1), with ff feta (1, 1)
yoplait yogurt (18, 2)
atkins bar (3, 5)
string cheese (0, 2)
mock meat stir fry stew with lots of veggies (4, 2)
protein supplement (4, 1)
soymilk (3, 1)
late night snack: yougurt (19 carbs, 2 pts)

Great work Amee! Body aches and lethargy could be due to suddenly reducing carbs. Just becareful there with the level of exercise you're doing and maybe google "importance of carbs for muscle building"... as I've just found something quite interesting which *could* explain why you've been feeling so thirsty. I found an article that mentioned "carbohydrates are your body’s primary source of fuel because it helps your pancreas to produce insulin, a hormone that plays a huge role in how proteins and fats are stored." People with diabetes can feel thirsty can't they... so I just wondered if maybe reducing carbs this could be having an effect on your insulin levels? Just a thought that's maybe worth investigating further. :o)

Great! You're back on track! Maybe the spike up a few days a go was related to 'Red Dragon'? It looks like you had a similar spike up around the same time last month. This happens to me a lot. Great job getting back down! Whoooahoo! See you soon, bud.
