Frustrated. Plateaued - AGAIN. ... Struggling to adapt to the fall schedule with my son back in school. Up at 5:00 (a full hour and a half earlier than the summer schedule and NOT able to get to bed an hour and a half earlier). How do I adapt to less sleep and keep my energy level up for day to day life and work outs?? Today I ate 1/4 cup of dark chocolate m&m's. I didn't even really want them, but was out of almonds and pistachios and feeling SO tired. I thought the dark chocolate would give me a bit of a kick in the pants energy-wise. They didn't. End result is that I ate 210 extra, empty calories that I didn't want and that did me zero good for the energy I hoped to get from them. Lesson learned. From here on out, I drive to the store and get some almonds or pistachios. ... This plateau had better freaking break soon. Planning on an outdoor hike of about 1.5 hours tomorrow (need to look up how many calories that will burn), plus my 45 minutes on the trekker to burn 450+ calories. ... In the mean time, chin up and forge ahead. I WILL be 110 or less by the first of May 2014. Or earlier.
