Today I went to the gym (as usual) but added to my 30 minute cardio and upper body strength training a ab class. This was a private instruction (only 2 students and 2 teachers) so we had some great 1 on 1. Not only did I learn some new abdominal exercises, but I also learned some lower back strengthening exercises (which I need since I have always had a problem with it)
I totally suck at doing the plank, but was encouraged to do it for 5 times for 10 seconds until I can increase to 20 and then 30 seconds. Its actually comical, my whole body shakes when I do them! Talk about needing some core strength!
Then, when I got home I did 3 hours of house work...the kind that sucks like sweeping, mopping and vacuuming. Well, the good thing about it is that is counts for exercise!
Today is a good day....tomorrow will be better!
