Carmel8sons's Journal, 16 September 2010

Hi, still no news on my pals mum. Thank you all fo your kind words.

On the "healthy eating", I'm doing good. Making better choices on protein enriched foods. Made a shake yesterday, had over 47g of protein. Very filling, ideal for when I'm going out or if going shopping. Now I need to improve my exercise.

Today I'm stuck at home most of the morning, lots of phone calls about Sons entitlement for going to college. Have to laugh, the government bought in a social welfare number at birth, and all the forms I have to fill in, entitled to childrens allowance, keeping my payment for him etc all go to same office and the amount of paper I've had to fill in is mad. and having a number at birth was to stop all this time wasting!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry to hear about your friends mum. That is just so sad. You all are in my thoughts. Hugs from across the ocean! Take care and don't let this added stress steer you of course. Great job with the increase in activity. :)

So sorry about your pal's mom. I am praying for her and for her family. Take care of yourself and don't get to het up over the paperwork. I know what a pain in the arse that can be!! You are doing fantastic.

My thoughts are with you and your friend. The waiting must be unbearable for your friend. One of my contemporaries - a friend from primary school - suffered a brain embolism a few years back; she was only 49. It took 14 months for her to pass away: a horrendous time for the family. Though a year younger than our boy, her son is a friend and often participates in the weekly Warhammer games we host. After his mum died, he was a different boy: he started to smile again.
