Today should be my weigh in, but I don't want to do it... According to my home scale, I am over my ideal weight by more than the allowed 2 pounds. Hubby and I were talking last night and hopefully we are both going to get back on track. It seems as though his aversion to the new skinnier me has gone away... and he is wanting to get back to working out and working on himself. I only have to officially weigh in once a month, but when I get back on track, I want to get back to the weekly weigh ins.

Had an okay weekend... Had to work on Saturday, but when I got home, we took the kids to Hometown Buffet for dinner... We don't go there much, and after this time, I think it will be quite awhile again.. The food is just not all that great, and none of us are really into the whole stuffing ourselves until we are so uncomfortable we can't move anymore. Anyway, after dinner, I took my youngest daughter next door to Fashion Bug (clothing store) and found that they were having a HUGE sale... all of their clearance items were an additional 40% off!! I ended up getting her 3 pairs of pants and 5 shirts for $85!! I normally shop at Lane Bryant for her, and it's hard to get 2 pair of pants for that price!! Plus, these clothes are junior style, so she doesn't look like an old lady (she's only 13-- going into her first year of high school)! After Fashion Bug, we stopped at Fred Meyer and finished off her school clothes shopping with another bottom and top... The only things she still needs are undergarments and shoes. Next is my older daughter.. she's a little tougher because she only wants expensive stuff.... she HATES my habit of shopping the clearance racks. Oh well!!

Yesterday, we took the kids bowling, then came home and were prepared to go shopping, but both hubby and I fell asleep and took a LONG nap... I normally do the 'power nap' of about 10 to 15 minutes... yesterday was 2 1/2 hours!!! We did get up eventually and do some grocery shopping and picked up most of the kids' school supplies. Got home and it was still so hot in our house that neither of us had any desire to prepare a meal, so ended up going out again.. for Mexican this time. Thankfully, the weather has cooled significantly today, so no excuses to not eat at home.

Looks like hubby may be out of town a couple of nights this week with work. He has been working like crazy lately and I hate that he is gone so much, but the money is good! I should be in town this week, so it'll be fine. Only two more weeks until the kids go back to school-- can't believe summer's almost over!!

That's about it... I'm off today, so I need to get some exercise in.. and I need to not count the Wii as exercise LOL! Have a great day everyone!!

sounds like you are getting all of your life back on track...i am so happy for you...i have found mexican easy to eat out...good luck shopping with the older daughter...i feel for you...
