Chants's Journal, 14 August 2008

Hmmmm yes, so this morning hasn't started well... infact it started rather badly! I was running late for work so I couldn't eat my breakfast that I'd set out last night (will all intents and purposes of eating when I woke up!). By the time I made it from my front door to the overground train station a quick drive away (normally walk but because I was late today I drove!) I was starving! But thought I'd be ok until I got to work but I caved hugely when I stood on the platform at London Liverpool Street waiting for my underground train to arrive! There is a kiosk on the platform which sells the most moreish cheese and bacon croissants and I'm afraid to say I totally couldn't resist! Hunger got the better of me! :( Why on earth do they put such tempting and really unhealthy kiosks in such convenient places?

I'm not going to look at my blip as something negative, nor am I going to let it spoil my meals for the rest of the day... Ok, yes so I messed up - ONCE - but to make up for that I'm stair walking today... yes, I've been doing this already for a week and I made it up 4 flights in one go yesterday (but very out of breath!), today I'll push for 5 flights! (God only knows if I'll be alive when I reach the 5th floor but God help me I'll die trying if need be!)

good luck *hug* i've had a slip or two in the last day or so but i agree don't get yourself down just work harder to work it off :)

You have the right attitude! One slip doesn't ruin the whole day's eating.

Don't give up...we all have little slips here and there. Lord knows I have these last few weeks. You've got the right attitude about not letting it ruin the rest of your day.

Don't wory about the breakfase, infact, that sounds darn tasty! I love London, went there on vacation for about 3 weeks right after 9/11. Also, I read your bio - your job is amazing! I have an event planning company, but all I do is birthday parties and weddings, no OLYMPICS yet!!! Good luck, and don't wory, the stair walking will knock down that cheese and bacon croissant!
