Loving the fact that I can still eat the foods I love, with some healthy tweaks, as long as I watch the portions. Had spaghetti tonight with Smart Taste noodles, so they were enriched with fiber and protein, but tasted yummy. Made my own spaghetti sauce and added freshly chopped zucchini (the first harvest from my garden!) and mushrooms. I know I shouldn't have had any bread, but I just can't imagine eating spaghetti without bread, so I stuck to the serving size on that. It's crazy to think when I wasn't watching what I ate the I ate AT LEAST double the serving size on everything, probably even more than that. Then, of course, a cup and a half of milk!

I feel satisfied both physically and emotionally. Gonna go for a walk tonight since I couldn't get the energy to work out today. Maybe when I come home I'll have one of my diet-creation cookies, loaded with protein and fiber, but still delicious. :) All in all a good day. I feel like I'm cheating though because I'm enjoying the foods I eat. I guess the scale will let me know how right I am!
