Cheeks's Journal, 13 June 2008

I've been feeling really anxious these past few days…and I can't really pinpoint it. Could be because of the waiting game with the fertility stuff or could be because my parents have hit a rough patch and after 43 years are more than likely getting a divorce. OR…maybe because its Friday the 13th today, and the full moon is just around the corner. Who knows!

Whatever the case, I do know that I need to stop eating when I'm not hungry. I pack my breakfast/lunch for work…but for some reason, I eat almost all of it before 11:30am (and I'm not even hungry!). I think because I know its there, and at arms length away I just grab stuff. I'll have to rethink that. I also need to check out the Weight Watcher cookbook this weekend, and come up with some other types of things I want to make, because I'm starting to get bored with what I'm eating.

Tonight we are heading to hubby's friends house to watch scary movies (as it is Friday the 13th!) and then pretty low key on Saturday. Sunday we will head to NH to see my dad for Fathers Day…but I'm anticipating that that will be a little weird given the turmoil, and the fact that my mom isn't living with him right now. Who knows. I'm sure it will be fine =)

I hope you are able to enjoy the day with your dad. Stay aware of your eating habits. Maybe you can put your lunchbox further away than 'arms length'? Enjoy your weekend.

Oh yes, you have a bit of stress on your plate, now don't ya?? Man, sorry to hear about the parents, but if they will be happier, I'm sure it'll be alright. It sounds like you could use that bubble bath and some lavender and soothing music to just let go for a while! ;) Try not to think about the fertility stuff... I know, I know, hard not to, right? :) But the stress is enough to make it even harder to conceive. Relax, let go... relax, let go... breathe. :) You're new mantra?? =D I love your CHART!! You're doing TERRIFIC!! Find peace, you have so much to be thankful for, counting blessings can release many stresses. Have a great weekend!!
