Well they say a change is as good as rest and that's what I'm planning to try this week.

I'm just not feeling like I'm getting anywhere at all and as hard as it has been to stick to the diet this last week, all the reasons and the excuses in the world do not change the fact that I'm still not under the 12 stone mark that I have been aiming at for months now.

This week I'm going to try the kelloggs cereal slim for summer diet - and have cereal for breakfast AND lunch. It's easy, which is what I need at the moment with all that is going on around me. I'll have to get some low calorie snacks in and I'm still looking to buy a new dance based exercise DVD - I may do it tomorrow or it may be left until we've got the funeral out of the way on tuesday. I'm also picking my new car up on weds morning so I'm really hoping that things can finally get back to some kind of normality....... I have two and a half weeks before I visit my dad again in Spain - I want to be under that 12 stone goal by then, despite the fact that Aunt Flo could well reappear about that time.......... I want to get on that plane feeling a million dollars :)

You can do it! Maybe you do need to change it up a bit. Hope it's calming down a bit for you.

I know you can do it! You've got things back under control with your chart so you're heading in the right direction. A little change of pace with the diet might be exactly what you need to kick things up a notch. Good luck on all fronts. You can do it!

You sure can do it and are already heading in the right direction... so just keep going, those 160's are calling - you are so close!! ;o) Is this the Special K diet? I've just found this just in case it might help. "Special K isn't a great source of fiber, nor is it a whole grain. You'll need to eat plenty of fruits and vegetables throughout the day, as well as one or two whole-grain choices at your non-cereal meal (such as brown rice pilaf or a slice of whole-grain bread) to meet your fiber needs." I was going to say though keep those snacks perhaps fruit and veggies - I've found lowering carbs has helped me loads so I try to avoid snacks that are "processed carbs". I'm sure that veggies have a lot to answer for in helping weight loss and good sources of fibre too. You just keep up the great work though and I hope that little change brings you some great results! ;o)
