Hubby comes home tonight! Yaaay! =) Being a newlywed….a week away feels like a year! Hahahah I'm happy with myself that I only had one day of weakness while he was away….and thank you Kat and Shel for your encouragement on that day! (and every day for that matter) =) Yesterday was a day of temptation at work…seems to be the norm lately with people having babies, weddings, leaving, promotions. There is cake everywhere! Yesterday was particularly bad, because one party had Carrot cake (my FAVORITE)..but…I resisted, then, in the same day, there was a chocolate cake and white cake…AND…an Ice cream Sundae bar. What the heck!?! I over came it all, even with people making comments of how good it was…and I totally wanted to cheat, but then I thought to myself…nope, you already had your cheat day for the week…don't do it, its not worth it. And you know what…I feel great! Tonight is girls night "in" (hubby doesn't get home until 1am, so figured some company until then would be fun). I am making dinner, and found recipes that will help me be in my points for the day, but flavorful enough that no one else will figure out that its geared towards a weight loss meal.
