I have a question. Someone here recommended Intermittent Fasting and I was wondering what that would look like for someone like me who works 12hr night shifts? I know a usual work day for me begins when I get up at 2pm. I cook dinner for my family, which is usually my (breakfast and lunch) then I eat dinner at 12am. I don’t usually eat again till I get up and do it all again. I work 6:30pm-7:00am, just FYI.

You don’t need to stop eating certain hrs. You need to learn to control your calories and get to basics

Eat less calories than what you burn, this way you create a calorie deficit

From my understanding of IF, you are doing it already.

The beautiful thing about IF is that u can customize it to ur schedule. The most common one is the 16/8 split, eat ur caloric needs within the 8 hours and fast the other 16. Thomas Delauer has some good videos on IF.

When I fast it usually 18:6. So I start to eat about 8 hours before bed and stop 2 hours before bed.
