DAY 325..DAY 7 OF ATKINS..GOOOOOD FRIDAY MORNING TO EVERYONE!!!..well another week over with..an weigh in time is today or tomw..wakin up to another 63 outside again today..gonna be a nice mrning walk again..starting to see more people out walkin when i go for my walk..lol..guess they are warm weather walkers..ive been tryin to keep myslf busier thru the day..some days its hard..have started working out in the shop again..cleaned it up yesterday and ran the shop vac over the floor and on the machinery to pick up the sawdust..then set down and did alot of pondering about how i had lost so much weight on my own lifestyle change and then got to thinkin about atkins and how i have to watch my carbs and keep them in line if i want to get use to it..its not all that hard...hardest part is gettin use to eating when im hungry and not cause its time to eat..and thats something that i have to work on as for the last 11 months i have ate at a certain time, tryin to stay consistant..but 30 days makes a habit, and then its just a tweak here and a tweak ther...and in 30 days il have a routine...more to come later...

my knee is still botherin me an has been all week, but ive been puttin on an ace thingy that stretches over my knee to support it enough that its not throbbin later in the day..its been helping..went for my morning walk, then the gym for 2x30 min sessions..came home ..takin a break..lol.

NEW MINI GOALS !!!!

1. WATCH THE CARBS !!!!!
2 PUSH THE WORKOUTS, BUT NOT SO MUCH YOU HURT YOURSELF !!!!!
3. WATER, WATER, WATER!!!
4. ONLY EAT WHEN YOUR HUNGRY !!!
5. TAKE A DAY OFF FROM WORKOUTS,BEFORE YOUR BODY HAS TO TELL YOU !!!
6. 66 POUNDS GONE, AND 66 MORE TO DROP ALONG THE JOURNEY !!!

HOPE EVERYONE HAS A GREAT DAY!! KEEP THAT BODY MOVIN!!!

It is difficult having to count everything which is why I just try to eat food with no or very low carb counts so I don't have to worry about it. If I'm having a avg or high carb food, I make sure not to have too much carbs at the meals not involving it. I tried doing it my way and wasn't successful so I'm going to stick with it. Hopefully your weigh in will convince you it's worth it!

You've done fantastic this week Mike!! Way to go! Like Kimbulie.. I really don't like to have to keep up w/ everything.. It puts too much focus on it which in the past, freaks me out a little too much and will eventually send me into an eating frenzy. So, starting today.. I'm gonna chill out a little on the food journal. I know basically what I can and can't have so I'm gonna focus more on life and what's going on around me and less on writing everything down. I'm not saying that food journals don't work b/c it is wonderful for some but for me... I'm just gonna make sure whatever goes into my mouth is low carb. Maybe I'll ease up a bit.. and plus, making out the menus... make me feel the need to eat when sometimes... I could probably just make it w/out the extra food!! Good luck to all the low carbers and too every other dieter as well! After all, we're ALL in it to WIN it, right?? LOL, Have a good one!! =D

Heading home for the weekend but not before I too add my voice to the others in praise of your fantastic achievements Mike..keep up up, brilliant stuff... am gonna start recording next week but am gonna just list what I had the day before... am not organized enough to plan a day in advance.... that would involve planning which implies the presence of a brain!!! Ohh look! shiney object! *zoooooom*

only eat when your hungry? i have heard that in the "golden rules" too. but i thought you should eat throughout the day to speed up your metabolism??? i am confused! lol oh i have been wanting to ask you too... are you lifting weights too??? just wondering.

i do dumbbell curls and concentrated curls one day and on the next day i do ab crunches...but my afternoon workout isnt as dedicated as my morning workouts are..wish they was..as for speedin up the metabolism..all i kno is that on the induction im not hungry like i use to be..i just dont really crave or see anything that makes me want it...and just for temptation today mom made a choloate cake...last week it was cookies..geeez...talk about puttin goodies out and temptin me..
