Last day of my 7-day fast. Usually we start with broth today. However, I really wanted to get into the 270s this fast, so we're going to stay on the fast through Sunday. Had a strong swim yesterday, but in the afternoon we were working with moving a set of cinder blocks and just didn't have a lot of energy. We got two of the 12 foot walls set up, and then just decided that since it 5:00 pm, we'd give it up for the day. Of course, we're in our 60s - so things are a bit more challenging.
Still really psyched that this works at all. I realize that there really isn't any way it can't work - but I've spend my whole life a victim of my odd metabolism. Being able to deliberately lose weight is a miracle. And, water-fasting is simpler, effective and less painful than any of the many diets I've tried over the years.
