I had crackers on Sunday, but I had 30 of them... I would have done better if I only had 4 :)

Adefwebserver, I don't know why the weight loss thing has to be that complicated for you. 😐

love the Ale House!

@Keilin_4 - It is complicated for a lot of people :) Over the years I have noticed only a small percentage of people on this site that 'lose the weight and keep it off'.

That is true, maintenance also takes hard work, it's why this thing is called "lifestyle or forever diet"

We supposed to learn to eat right in the process.

Ale House?!? Any favorite menu options? Love the 'socking the cals away for the Ale House later in Day'.

Here's a sobering statistic: Roughly 90 percent of people who lose a lot of weight eventually regain just about all of it. As I've done this at least twenty times in my life it means 19 of y'all will be successful :-)

@Keilin_4 - The person with low thyroid can't just 'eat right'. My son ate fine for years and was an obese teenager until he got his medicine. A person with diabetes or pre-diabetes is going to have an interesting time lowing calories and still having high carbs. This is just the way it is :)

Fullabella wow. I am down from 256 and have kept it off for 5yrs and counting. once we learn what our bodies need we need to be content. if through the process no lessons are learned and bad food habits broken, no one will succeed. Eat to live, not live to eat.

@CrashtestDawnie - All you did was post a picture of some crackers and some fruit. Look at all the debate you caused! Haha!

As long as we stay here doing what we supposed to do, we will keep our weight off. 😊

Eross I admire you. In usually good for about 18 months and the terrible twos drag me to the fridge and shove food in my mouth.

Fullabella, Ty for the compliment. It has not been easy. I knew when my joints started failing leading to replaced knees, hips and fused ankles, that I had to take it off permanently to keep moving. I am still trying to destroy the last few pounds. My motivation may be forced but it keeps me in touch with me.

😄 I love reading everyone’s ideas, opinions, and stories 😃 post away! So the dinner was a lot of fun! We ended up going to Red Robin instead. We had too many ppl and couldn’t get a table together at the Ale house (I was really hoping for their Philly Cheese steak). I had chicken tenders with honey mustard and BOTTOmLess sweet potato fries. I am so full I might pop! I will try to eat lite again tomorrow too. Turns out I have to work 12pm to 8pm so I’m not going to be able to spend any time with my kids 😭 We will be making cake pops on Saturday instead.

Adef it’s funny that I thought of you when I opened the ritz crackers. I put them back and grabbed the less delicious (addicting) saltines 😜 I wouldn’t have been able to eat just 4 of those
