Okay, TOM is gone, and I'm feeling much better about myself. I think each side brings it's different ailments, one side, terrible cramps, the other side, crappy mood. Thank goodness it's all over though.

I lost a little bit of weight, I guess my body was sick of holding onto it all. Here's the weird thing, I didn't overdo it or anything, but I haven't exercised since Wednesday, and I haven't eaten 100% good. I mean I watched my intake, and I've done a couple crunches and planks (I downloaded an awesome app for my iPod called CrunchFu, and it really helps make my crunches worthwhile), but other than that, I haven't been paying super strict attention to my diet. And yet an almost 2lb lost. Not complaining, but I think the secret is going to be able to find the happy medium between the strict watching of everything I put in my mouth, to being a little lenient to myself.

I have 6 weeks until Jamaica, and I'm really getting excited now. Since I'm only 3 lbs from the 130s, I think that my mini goal for myself will be hit. Is it crazy that I'm thinking about the exercises I can do while I'm down there? I know I'm going to be swimming in the ocean and the pool everyday, but I know I will not be offered staples of my diet in the form of egg whites and VitaTops. There will be no skim milk for my coffee, and that makes me worried. I know I'll be hitting up the buffets, I just have to watch my intake, so I'm hoping that the gym the hotel offers is decent, and has at least an eliptical and a treadmill. I also hope that I'm the only crazy one willing to work out while on vacation.

Well that's really it. This weekend was boring and I didn't really get much done, hope everyone had a good weekend and hope everyone's week is good as well :)

At the buffets in Jamaica you can just focus on trying all the fruits and veggies that are exotic to us but common there. :)

Try not to fret about being "off" your ideal plan for Jamaica!! It IS vacation after all. And no I do not think you are crazy at all for thinking about what exercise you can do while you are there. I usually exercise while on vacation and it makes me relax a bit about all the indulgences I partake in while relaxing!! Glad you are feeling better!!

Congrats on the new low! I'll take a look at CrunchFu since I do a lot of crunches these days. The problem is that I have 176 apps and not a single slot open. It's getting harder and harder to delete. :-) With all the swimming and moving around in Jamaica, the buffets should not affect you too much. Keep up the great work Alli!

I know other people have said this too, but sometimes when I let up on the exercise and dieting the pounds come off. I've read in some places that if you really want to lose a few pounds (like for a special event, obviously this isn't a long-term strategy) that you eat lightly but don't exercise. I don't know--I'm sure it's different for everybody and different at different times. But take the loss either way. It looks like a big drop on your weight loss chart!
