DAY 320..GOOOOOOOOOD SUNDAY MORNING FS BUDDIES!!!! day 2 of atkins..48 outside, and gettin ready for a morning walk..contrary to popular belief, i think that switching food habits is something that i needed to do..i was gettin to comfortable with my own style and my carb intake was outta control..i was watchin my salt intake, and my carbs was going up..so changing is something i needed to get dedicated to my eating like i am to my exercise..64 pounds on my own was great, but i still have 120 more and i just felt like i needed a more dedicated eating habits, then watching my calories..so il give this a try for 2 weeks and see what happens..hopefully in a week or less i will start showing losses..i did try on the 44s last night..and they was within a 1/2 inch of buttoning up.. i tried to suck it in to get it buttoned, but still to much to suck in..but i did get em zipped all the way..but just couldnt get em buttoned, so they are gettin really close to being buttoned...then il have to loose enough so they will be comfy to wear..lol..but all in all means im loosin inches even if that ole scales doesnt want to show me anything on the dial..still motavated just from the pants fittin closer an closer...suppose to be in the 70s again today..and as the week goes by, the temps are in the upper 70s so its gonna be another nice week outside..be more moving around outside again..have most of the outside stuff done, but still need to do some chalking around the house and stuff like that..ladder stuff, but at least this year i will feel more like climbin it..well enough babblin..need to get up an go fetch breakfast..and lick the cookie jar..lol...really i dont have the cravings as i had already gotten past that from my old eating habits..this seems easy to me...just gotta use the food journal to punch it in an see what i cant have for the day..

HOPE EVERYONE HAS A GREATTTT DAY!!!!!! AND IF YOU EATING HABITS ARNT WORKIN FOR YOU, MABYE ITS TIME FOR A CHANGE...JUST DONT GIVE UP, YOU CAN DO THIS, SURE ITS A CHALLANGE, BUT THATS WHAT MAKES YOU STRONGER IN LIFE!!!!!

45 min walk
30 min 10 resistance hill bike
20 min 6 resistance hill elliptical..
30 min ab crunches

Good luck on Atkins. I think it is a wonderful diet that works. I think you'll do great. BTW you are doing awsome.! I enjoy your journals.

Wow! I missed yesterdays announcement of starting to try Atkins, so congratz on following a new meal plan! Good luck to you! I bet you will find that your body will do good with that way of eating. I was going to ask, is jello ok on atkins? I spose the sugar free is, right? I did Atkins years ago, but only for a couple of months. It wasn't right for me, but I see it works great for many others! :) I'm excited to see what it does for you in the next week!

Yes, definitely good luck on Atkins. I tried it many years ago (don't know if it's changed much) and found it very effective. I too agree that changing things up a bit is good and makes dieting (or maintaining), more interesting. Keep up the good work!

Well, Day 2 with only 12 more to go! Looks to me like you did a terrific job yesterday on your food choices! I like your thoughts on being as dedicated to what you eat as you are to exercising. Way to go, Mike!

ONLY 12 more to go..lol..for the way i feel after only 2 days..might be longer then 14..i really thought this morning after my walk i would be wore out, so then i went to the gym..an im not even all that tired..cant believe all the energy i have..

I know huh!! it's a different energy too! energy from carbs feels fake (like it came from caffeine!) compared to energy from an all-natural diet! You'll see what I mean by tomorrow, i'm sure! Tomorrow you should be in ketosis! you should go and get the keto-stiks at the local drug store or Wal-mart. It feels so great to actually SEE that you're burning fat and losing weight! it's like you're SEEING proof that your efforts are paying off!

yeap, i cant wait either to see them 44s button...lol..then have to keep workin on em for a week or 2 so they dont feel like they was painted on...lol
