You know what makes me feel so wonderful?
Myself and 2 other girls from work are watching our weight. We've all been doing well, resisting treats and having healthy lunches. (though one girls idea of a healthy snack is a baggie of Fruit Loops...)
Well its time for Friday breakfast again, this week its Taco Cabana tacos, Chik Fil A chikn mini's, Einstien Bagels, chocolate milk and 3 different juices.
I had none.
Other 2 girls stacked there plates with tacos (plural, yes, more than one) bagel with cream cheese AND a few chikn mini's! PLUS juice/chocolate milk!

Now, what makes me so happy about all of this, is that i am not even tempted to eat any of it. At all. South Beach has done its job, and killed my ravenous carb cravings. Never did i ever think there would come a time that i could turn down a bagel with cream cheese. That is one of my absolute favorite things in the world!
I'm not saying i'll never eat another bagel again, i'm sure i will, but here and now is not the time.
Yipee for me!! Happy Friday :D
oh, i did treat myself this morning, i like to treat myself on weigh in days, for being so good all week. My 'treat' used to be fast food breakfast. My treat now is a double tall skinny vanilla latte from starbucks. 90 calories, made with nonfat milk. go me!
