DAY 311.. GOOOOOOD MORNING EVERYONE!!!! 59 outside this morning if its not rainin, then im going for a morning walk, then up to the gym for my other workout..looks like another week of no loss on the scales..but im gettin use to that..long as im loosin the inches, at least im havin a loss..just would be nice to see it on the scales for more motivation..

ADDON: no movement in the scales..
45 min walk
30 min on bike
25 min on bike
30 min of ab crunches

I know that you are aware of this... but remind yourself that the scales don't always tell the whole story!! How is your body feeling? Look at how your clothes are fitting too!! Have a great day =D

That is soooooo true that the scale doesn't tell the whole story. With your eating and exercise your are surely changing your body!! Keep on keeping on!!!!

i totally agree with everyone...i probly do need to eat more then i do..but i just dont have the appetite..i also think about all the calories and then i pick up something with less calories..its something that im gonna have to work on an get my calories up higher..an everyday routine im gonna have to make my food journal read 1300-1500 calories..thanks everyone..

total steps today was 13270..most i have done since this time last week..

You might just add in a fat free yogurt now and again... its about 100 cals depending on the brand. It may help you to cycle in a high day and then back to a low day?? You're commitment is awesome!!

truthfully? I think on a LOW day you shouldn't go lower trhan 1500. You should definitely be able to lose weight eating 2000 calores a day on average, if you are 6 ft tall! You can't expect to eat like us chicks do do lose weight, you need more, men have a higher metabolic rate and naturally more muscle. It is generally recommended to go up in calories gradually however, if you have been eating in a low range, to avoid the risk of initial weight gain.

I think on a low day 1800 calories would be good for someone as active as you as well as the fact that you are a guy! You need those calories to keep you going on a regular day! I am 140 lbs and 5'5...I've been told that if I want to maintain my weight I should eat around 1800 calories! That's a lot for me! So I would recommend not doing 1300-1500 calories...that's a number for us chicks! Good luck!

i agree w/ lotus. someone was on racheal ray saying how we eat bad one day and replace it w/ a low cal the next day! she said you do your body more harm that way. look it up, it aired today. anyway, if you do the zig zag, i think it works better to eat your recommended cal say 1200-1500 then spike it up not down!! or maybe low to 1100 but i don't think lower than 1000 is good for any of us!!! i know you have mentioned you don't have the appetite, but learn to love the right foods, and your body will crave it!! you can do it mike... you can!!

I was looking at a chart in my book Choose to Lose when I said 1500, and that was ROCK BOTTOM. 1800 would be more reasonable for sure. :)

thanks everyone for all the support today is a new day and a new start to eating more calories to get my body bck on track and back to droppin off the weight..i will try to eat more in calories..but cant promise any thing..as it will be hard for me to eat that many calories on a daily basis..its something i will have to work on, just like changin my eating habits..thanks again..today is a new day and a new start..
