Uneventful, and on-track..

Was up until 2.3o am last night trying to beat my deadline, and happy to report, I did so! Was supposed to be up at 6.30 am, but just couldn't do it, so managed to sleep until 8-ish. After that, the day has been the usual busy Tuesday, but things have been good. Was happy to see the scale this morning--hoping it's gonna stay or drop, but not rise back again tomorrow!

Meanwhile, the day consisted of class,lab meeting, department meeting--brought lunch in, supervision meeting, class prep, run out to get coffee, second class, snacked on my fruits, ran out to another supervision meeting, and by then it was 6.15 pm, and pretty hungry so caved and got a granola bar (4 pts),and then managed to get out of work soon after. Was quite peckish by then, but got myself to go to the gym, put in 40 mins of elliptical (460K), and then came back up and cooked up some sauteed bean curd+ veggies, and a salad. I feel like this eating and working out is not that much work these days...I hope that it's become a habit by now..we'll see..I can't let my guard down.

Was drinking water on and off, and lunch consisted of my vege casserole and salad, but don't know why I was hungry later...the last two days I've felt hungrier and get the munchies...maybe I should have some solid protein-containing lunch and that'll hopefully stay with me longer through the day. Also, working out in the am is still in the plans, so hopefully that'll help get straight to dinner earlier in the evening...

Meals of the day:

Breakfast: 1/2 serving cereal and skim milk (2)
snack: 3 fruits (plums and an orange) (3)
coffee with half and half (1)
granola bars (4)
Lunch: salad with lite dressing (2), and 1 piece veggie casserole (3)
Pre-workout: few walnuts, 2 peanuts, 1 Indian chana (3)
Dinner: Sauteed bean curd with little bit oil, walnuts, and veggies (5), and salad with lemon juice as dressing

Total points: 23

Workout: 40 mins Elliptical (460 K burned)

YAY! It's getting eaiser!!!! And automatic :D I'm so psychic...I should have my own hotline!!! Re: hunger, yes protein is key...and your activity level is so high, I wonder if you & I are/am getting enough calories - I'm gonna start counting mine for a few days. I want to make sure I'm getting enough, not 'starve' my poor metabolism, but not too many either. Great day! Well done!

You make it all look so easy! You seem in constant motion from the moment you wake up. Amazing! Healthy eating + habitual exercise = recipe for success. Woohoo!

I think you can be forgiven for missing your early wake-up call after that late night! Your chart's looking great this week, and you sound so focused - keep up the great work!! GO TRAILBLAZERS!!!
