it's all still going horribly wrong on the healthy eating front...and on the exercise front as well if truth be known..... I still put the blame whole heartedly on the 'lack of routine' front.....esp with heading to Spain tomorrow, we've been eating easily and conveniently, not buying in a lot of fresh stuff that we wouldn't have eaten before we go...

So there we have it. I'm off to Spain in the morning, back late Weds night...then only a few more days until I get my normal routine...and hopefully my weight loss back.......and Aunt Flo will have gone by then too! Hurray!

Aw, don't worry it won't be long before life is back to normal again and you will find it easier to get back to healthier eating again. I do sympathise because I know it's much harder when your at home. Yesterday I didn't eat lunch until 3.30pm... just didn't get around to it! But then put all my times out so by tea-time, I wasn't particularly hungry... so as a result ate less than I intended yesterday which can be just as bad as eating too much! You just keep hanging in there as you have done fabulous so far. So enjoy your time away, you can then refocus when you get back. Happy holidays to Spain -- you just make sure you have a great time! ;o)

Change of routine is one of the biggest hurdles we have to deal with. Try to treat this as a learning experience to help you with the next change of routine. Try to make the healthy choices when you can and pick the lesser of two evils when you can't. Making the best of a bad situation is all you can do. With a little care you will be able to minimize any collateral damage and then you can jump back into your routine on your return home. Enjoy your trip!

I chime in with Evelyn...picking the lesser of two evils can still be a good thing. Enjoy your vacation to see your father:) No guilt, we are here for you when you get back!

We all have those hurdles and 'bumps in the road' when it comes to making healthy choices...You're still doing really well. You have a nice, safe trip and when you're back you can focus on making the changes you did before...they really are working for you! LOOK at your awesome 'down ward spiral' of a chart you got going there! Hugs to ya!

wow! enjoy Spain! We gotta take our pleasures where we can get them---no guilt. You haven't seen any damage on the scale, so you'll be able to right yourself from the "sins" of the trip once you get back...but while you're still traveling, just have fun, eat it all--but portion control, and walk a lot--that'll burn it off, and if not, there's always later ;) We'll be here from ya when you get back!
