EDITTED!!!

Officially and legit 50 lbs lost!

here is my transformation!




I've had the past two days off, and I thought for sure that I was going to go crazy with food because I wasn't on my regular regimented days at work, but I'm guessing that I was pretty good because I was able to register a loss this morning.

Okay, I weigh myself twice a day. Once in the morning when I wake up, and once before I go to bed. I like to see how what I've eaten affects my weight. So, what annoys me in this process is that when I weigh myself at night, and I'm just at the point of dropping from one number to another (let's say from 150, to 149) and in the morning I've weighed in at 149, but by the time I weigh myself at night, I'm back in the 150s. That's frustrating. I think I'm passed that point now, but I just wanted to show everyone how neurotic I am.

So, Wednesday, the weather was, eh. We were supposed to go to Delicious Orchards (which is like an overpriced gourmet super market), but all day it looked like the sky was about to open up and pour. So, instead we cleaned the apartment and then took a drive down to Surf Taco. I didn't eat all day, so I got three tacos. They were delicious! After we ate Joe and I walked around for about an hour, and then came home. I walked at night, and kept the exercise up.

Thursday, Joe and I ran errands all day. And I bought a BIKINI! Size medium top and bottom! So that's fun. I got it at Target this is what it looks like!

I really like stars I have a bunch of star tattoos, so this one is perfect. I kind of hated how I looked in it, and my mom's advice was "Oh, just do a couple of sit ups and you'll be fine." I love how moms always try to break things down to the simplest level.

I'm going on vacation in 10 weeks from today. That's 70 days. I would like to lose 10 more pounds before I go at the very least. Ideally, I'd like to lose 15. So, the 10-15 pound challenge is happening! Anyone wanna join :)

WOW you are doing great!! I have been away from here for a cpl of months and seeing how great everyone has been doing is sooooo inspiring!! 10-15 is totally doable especially if you stay on track and give it your all!! I am cheering you on : )

Any and all are welcome, glen! I hope I lose 4lbs in 17 days. I have a wedding next Sunday, and I'm hoping to AT LEAST be 145 by then. I don't know why we put such stock in numbers, it's not like they are going to weigh me when I walk in.

50 Lbs! Great job! I would like to lose 10 - 15 lbs in the next 10 weeks too! I am 5'2 and 149 and I think it is totally doable as well!My goal was to be 145 by May 31. Hopefully I could come close by then!

I often feel like the results are skewed. There are so many people, and just to succeed in a challenge, I think that they pad their results. Sometimes it's a four week challenge and they have lost 25lbs! Not possible. Let's just all hold each other accountable. Do what YOU know needs to be done. Journal and comment. Let us know how you're doing. That's the challenge. To do it without the page.

Your doing great dude, especially on a mini vacation, and I love the bikini - Gotta love Target. Delicious Orchards is great (Elvis Durran lives near there), but you have to be strong and avoid all the goodies they have... then spend $1000 on the fruit and veggies! I think we should make a pact - you do your best to get to your vacation goal, and from here on out, so will I. Maybe we should do what Jessyline said on my journal and make an outline as to what we will do - eating and exercise. I think thats a great idea! And as far as weighing in twice a day, once at night and once in the morning, Evan does that every day, and sometimes I do the same. Its kinda fun to see how much you lose over night... but sometimes when you don't lose that much, it sucks! Well, no facebook for me today (or any day for the rest of my working career....) so have a good one! I'll be on AIM all day though, so we can catch eachother on there!

LMAO... I wish I could lose 25 lbs in 1 month! It's hard enough to lose 2 a week! I like the bikini... Target always has such cute swimsuits. Congrats on achieving your milestone!!! That must feel so great. :)

The chart shows 147 which is a new low for you so I'm not sure I understand your discussion of 149. I sometimes "chase" myself down in weight by weighing in evenings as well. I think that it may be a good practice and was considering doing more of it. It only takes a few seconds to check your weight, and doing it at night, before meals or snacks can be enough to discourage us from that one extra thing which we really don't need. I don't think that you are neurotic at all, rather, you seem to be doing things your *own* way, according to what seems right to you. Keep up the excellent work and have a great weekend buddy!

@info: Oh, I was talking about how your weight fluxes up at night, I'm sick of it fluxing back up to the higher 10s. I'm sick of seeing it flux back up to the 150s! I'm ready for the 140s! LOL

Nice pics. I just noticed in your tagline thing that you're down 51 lbs!!! Awesome! Give yourself a lot of credit and enjoy the moment. It's so easy to move onto the next "goal" but it's worth savoring the victory.
