Alright, slight drop. Not much, but since I was teetering in the 152.4 to 155 last week, getting lower than my lowest thus far is a step in the right direction.

I've decided that I absolutely decimate my food at every turn. Totally got a grilled chicken sandwich that I turned into, I don't know, I ate around the bread, so I basically paid for grilled chicken. I also got apple dippers, which I was going to forget the caramel sauce, but I'm going to snack on that a little later in the day. I figured I deserve a little caramel sauce every now and then.

I walked last night, by myself. There is this main strip in the middle of my town called, "the Ave." It's right by the main park, and it's the main hub of exercise in town. It's about a 3 mile loop, and it took me 55 minutes to complete. And no walk with be truly an Allison walk if it didn't include some element of terror. There is this guy who speed skates on the ave. And he is frightening, he zooms past everyone at break neck speeds. So, I saw him on the Ave. And he zooms by and scares me.

So I'm walking and I'm off the Ave. Like 10 blocks away from it, and I'm about to turn a corner, and I hear this terrible noise behind me, like heavy breathing, and I turn around, IT'S SPEED SKATER! Coming right towards me. I literally screamed my head off, and he, wearing headphones of course, doesn't hear me and keeps skating away at his lightning fast pace. I've decided that I hate him, and if you've ever seen Big Daddy, you know my course of action against him the next time I see him. I have a feeling it's going to be Stick - 1, Speed Skater - 0.

Anyway, Glee tonight! Yay! That makes me happy!

Someone needs to tell that dude that roller blading is so 1998! LOSER! LOL Good job on the walk though - when it gets warmer, I'm going to start heading to the boardwalk after I put the girls to bed. Yeah, it will be 8pm on the Asbury Park boardwalk, but I have my pepper spray! Have a good one - just 3 more days till ST! Is it sad that ST is the only thing I'm looking forward to this entire week.....?

Incorporating Speed Skater into to our list of walking woes is not a welcome addition. We are already battling serpantine sticks and random wildlife that has the potential to be deadly or merely out to sniff our shins. We just want to walk around town at, admittedly odd, hours of the night, is that so wrong? Must we suffer so?????

When I leave my house for the gym at 5 something in the morning, there is always something running out from under one of our cars, or our driveway... scares the $hit outa me!!! I love nature and all, just not on my property...

That, is my friend, she's my walking partner, I have to say, she puts up with alot from me in the terms of my fears when it comes to walking. There was an unfortunate incident with a serpentine stick that had scared me so bad, that I jumped maybe, 3 feet in the air!

Maybe you should start taking some karate classes so you can kick some butt if the crazy rollerblader dude comes back. Defence and exercise all in one - I like it! ( ;

But the stick-snake made it into the book! It has been immortalized forever...all because you are really, really paranoid :)

Eh, I took karate from the time I was 10 until I was 17. If I never have to wear another gi, it won't be too soon.

You have a black belt, and you still scared of sticks and roller blading freaks???

I don't have a black belt. I have a green belt. And I'm very paranoid. It's not funny. Sudden movements frighten me. I was scared of shadows the other day.
