Hello All! Hope you're all doing well and following those 'plans' to a "T"! I'm still pluggin' away...and I still can't record a loss...or a gain...I took the advice of one of my buddies here and I'm going to try and see if there are other reasons for my NOT getting off the plateau I'm on...I purchased the Cortisol connection...I'll read that tomorrow and start taking it's advice when I'm done. I'm really, really, REALLY hoping it will help me. I get SO frustrated. But we all do at some points, right? I'll "DEAL" and move on :o) I think this week at my WW meeting I will become a 'lifetime member'. Excited for that! My leader asked if I wanted to become a leader myself...hummm, let's see....ahhh...NOT! I'll just keep my lil' ol self on the side-line and work it from there :o)

Congrats on the Lifetime once you get it this week! My dad's working on his right now too. It is frustrating getting those pics that you just DON'T want to see, thanks for your encouragement!

ALRIGHT!! Lifetime member means that you hit your GOAL WEIGHT!! WOO-HOO!! Stalls happen, and I think they happen especially towards the end when we get comfortable with what we can or can't have and we know what is okay and what we can "get away" with. I think it's harder towards the end. Keep on keepin on and you'll be moving again before you know it!! :) You're doing GREAT!!

A plateau means you stay the same weight for weeks. I think your problem is that you are so close to goal (whoo hoo). Those last pounds can be the hardest of all to lose. It can take months for some to get them off. Change things up a bit! Add more protein, eat smaller, more frequent meals, up your exercise intensity. I knew one girl who drank tons of green tea. You are doing amazing! You will be there before you know it!

Plateaus are so frustrating...I'm with ya! I'm enjoying an 'island' myself! I feel like i'm doing everything reasonably possible and the scales still won't budge downward. Somehow I wish I could get on that show Biggest Loser. THEN we'd lose weight!! they would have us running 15 miles a day, for heaven's sake!! LOL

Hi Sibby :) What about adding a at home aerobics tape or record a work out from TV or see if your local library has some you can check out. The Variety might spice things up and work your muscles in a different way. Depending on the ages of your children they could join you for some fun doing it or you could do a 30 minute tape while they sleep. Wishing you all the best & can't wait to hear how it goes with all the suggestions you have to choose from all of us ;) BTW - AWESOME on being a LIFETIME MEMBER!!! :)
