Tropical Smoothie

Low fat, low cal smoothie with fiber that's great for breakfast.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Add two cups crushed ice to blender.
  2. Add sliced banana.
  3. Add flax seed.
  4. Add mango.
  5. Add papaya.
  6. Add almond milk like Almond Breeze.
  7. Mix on liquefy for 3 minutes.
  8. Enjoy!

To lessen the calories you can omit the almond milk and have low fat soy milk instead.

I didn't try this, but wanted to note that 400 cals is NOT too many calories to eat for breakfast. In fact, a study showed that people who ate increasing calorie levels for breakfast ate less overall during the day, with people eating 400 cals for breakfast eating the least overall. (no higher cal levels were tested in this study).
