Spice-Rubbed Pork Chops

The rub seals in the juices to keep the pork chops moist and tender.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Pre-heat broiler and coat broiler pan with cooking spray.
  2. In a small bowl, combine chili powder, sugar, cumin and garlic powder. Add Worcestershire sauce and stir until paste forms.
  3. Rub paste onto both sides of each pork chops (four 1/2" thick chops), place on prepared pan and broil 4 minutes on each side until inside is no longer pink.
  4. Serve with string beans drizzled with fresh lemon juice.
  5. Note: try the rub on steaks and chicken, too!

Thoroughly enjoyed it even though a bit dry as my chops were boneless and not quite 1/2". Next time will do 3 minutes each side. Used fresh garlic and a bit of sea salt and fresh ground pepper.
