Slow Cooker Barbecued Ribs
Barbecued country style pork ribs.
Ingredients
Directions
- Spray 6-8 qt slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray. Place ribs, sliced onion and minced garlic in slow cooker.
- Cover, cook on low setting 8-10 hours.
- Drain and discard juices from slow cooker. Take meat out first, wipe edge of cooker clean and put meat back in.
- In measuring cup, combine barbecue sauce (reduced sugar if available) and jam. Mix well.
- Pour or spoon mixture over ribs, coating evenly.
- Cover, cook on high for 25-30 minutes or until ribs are glazed. Serve sauce with ribs.
- Note: the nutrition facts don't take into consideration all the fat and juices that you discard. Enjoy!

This is fantastic. The sugar free jam is 3/4 of a cup. It is wonderful and tender too.

I will definitely make it again and even experiment a little with different flavors of sauce. We used Kroger brand honey bbq sauce with blackberry jam. It was very good and the kids liked it too.

came out a bit sweet for my family's taste. But I used Honey BBQ sauce that I already had at home. I am sure added to the results I got. I will try again with regular BBQ.

Good Stuff. I over cooked it and the meat shredded,but it still ate well.

my family loved it. I had some left over and the next day I made shredded pork sandwiches. My 2 year old LOVED them. she is very pickie eater. I used Plan bbq sauce whatever was on sale when I went shopping.
