Roasted Cauliflower

Cauliflower roasted in the oven with olive oil and spices.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 425 °F (220 °C).
  2. Wash and cut cauliflower into bite size pieces. Drain well.
  3. Toss in olive oil and put in large baking dish. Sprinkle seasonings (like Mrs. Dash) all over.
  4. Bake for about 30 minutes or until tender and browned.

I've made roasted cauliflower for years even before this diet...however, I only use about 2 tbls olive oil and our favorite seasoning is Tastefully Simple Season salt (or use Lawrys - not as good but less expensive!) I've served this to guests at dinner parties and everyone has raved.

I make this all the time also, only with less oil. My kids love it, which is a plus!

I sprayed the florettes with olive oil and sprinkled with Paula Deens House Seasoning (salt, pepper, garlic, onion powders).
