Pumpkin Treat

A treat to quell those sweet cravings.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. In a microwave safe bowl, microwave cream cheese and butter for about 30 seconds or until soft.
  2. Mix in pumpkin, then add Splenda and pumpkin pie spice to taste.
  3. Eat warm or cold or however you please!
  4. Note: if using canned pumpkin, make sure to get pure pumpkin rather than pumpkin pie filling. The only ingredient listed on the can should be "pumpkin".

I accidentally rated this 1, though I have not tried it. I clicked the Vote button at the top, thinking I was going to be voting on whether this recipe was good for Atkins, Induction Phase on another page or pop-up. I have changed my vote to a neutral 3. Sorry - newbie mistake.

"Hello?!? One serving, with a quarter-cup of CREAM CHEESE plus a TBS of BUTTER?!? What planet are they living on? Since when is this a "diet" treat?!? I would certainly try it using fat-free cream cheese and diet margarine, but it might not taste the same -- don't know." This makes me laugh.. HELLOOO. research the atkins diet.. you know.. the diet the recipe is actually for. This sounds delicious and I will definitely be trying it in the next few days!
