Crunchy chips that are great as a snack or tossed into a salad for a little extra crunch.
Ingredients
Directions
- Heat an 8" sauté pan over medium heat.
- Sprinkle half the cheese evenly in the pan forming a "pancake".
- Leave the "pancake" 2 to 3 minutes until melted and flip with a spatula.
- Brown the second side.
- Remove from pan to cutting board.
- While still warm cut into triangles with a pizza cutter or sharp knife.
- Repeat with remaining cheese.

I bake mine in the oven at 425 for just a couple of minutes. (I make small piles of shredded prmesan). use a nonsitck surface!
Awesome with turkey chili in all phases!

I tried it with the grated parmesan, and it was a gloppy mess...wouldn't melt. I think the shredded would be a better option.

These are great on salads or with soups! I only have good luck with the shredded, not grated. Of course, just about any cheese will do!

Maybe I cooked it too long, but the chips had a really strong gross flavor like burnt cheese, but I cooked it like it said 2-3 min. and they didn't look burnt at all. Next time I will cook it for a shorter time. I did love that these seemed like actual chips and my boyfriend couldn't even tell that it was cheese!!!
