Oven Baked Sweet Potato Fries

Delicious and kid friendly baked fries, great as a side or snack.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Peel sweet potatoes and cut in half crosswise.
  2. Cut in half lengthwise and then cut each piece into 4 wedges.
  3. Place in 9x13" pan and drizzle with olive oil.
  4. Toss to coat evenly.
  5. Sprinkle with salt and cinnamon (or any combination of cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, etc.)
  6. Bake 35 minutes at 400 °F (200 °C) turning once.

Maybe even add a splash of balasmic instead of cinnamon.

Virgin, cold pressed, unrefined coconut oil is good, with garlic little sprinkle of the sea salt. your cayenne cumin or what ever spices you like. I use different ones all the time. Teaspoon of coconut oil, in cast iron skillet and garlic and spices. I just warm every thing up not really cook all the way.

These are great. I add cayenne instead of cinnamon, sometimes cumin too.

We have been making these for a few years now...We use McCormick Steak Seasoning and Garlic Powder and a little Onion Powder then broil them.
