Meatballs

You won't miss the bread crumbs in these tasty meatballs.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Heat the broiler.
  2. Drizzle olive oil on a baking sheet until the sheet is completely coated.
  3. Combine the meat, minced garlic, parsley (or 1 tablespoon of Italian seasonings instead), eggs, cheese, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  4. Use your hands to mix all the ingredients together.
  5. Form the meat mixture into small round balls - about an inch in diameter.
  6. Place the meatballs on the oiled baking sheet.
  7. Broil for about 5 minutes. Turning as necessary to cook all sides.
  8. Note: these taste great served with my sugar free tomato sauce recipe served over zucchini "noodles".

My husband and I liked this, but I made it like a meatloaf to save time on making the balls, and if I could have found some sugar free tomato sause to add to it Im sure I would have liked it more.

Meatballs - These were good. I'm going to hang onto this recipe until I find one better :) I like to make them very small... seem tastier.

For the Fat Flush diet the eggs should be Eggland eggs or eggs with extra Omega-3, and of course no salt added at all. I replaced the dash of black pepper with 1/2 tsp of red cayenne pepper(a thermogenic which fires up the bodies metabolism). It was very good, and everyone enjoyed them.

These were fabulous made in muffin pans as meatloaf, my entire family loved them. One comment said they were a little dry, sounds like they may have been cooked too long. As a meatloaf in muffin pans, fill spayed muffins cups about 3/4 way full and bake for 10-15 min. drain excess grease and top with zero carb or low carb toppings - yummy! Thank you so much, very flavorfull!

The taste was great - and they were really easy to make - but mine came out a little dry. Any suggestions?
