Meatballs

You won't miss the bread crumbs in these tasty meatballs.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Heat the broiler.
  2. Drizzle olive oil on a baking sheet until the sheet is completely coated.
  3. Combine the meat, minced garlic, parsley (or 1 tablespoon of Italian seasonings instead), eggs, cheese, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  4. Use your hands to mix all the ingredients together.
  5. Form the meat mixture into small round balls - about an inch in diameter.
  6. Place the meatballs on the oiled baking sheet.
  7. Broil for about 5 minutes. Turning as necessary to cook all sides.
  8. Note: these taste great served with my sugar free tomato sauce recipe served over zucchini "noodles".

Very tasty. I used ground turkey and they turned out great.

I made these with half turkey and half ground beef, 1 egg and 2 egg whites and omitted the oil. Added some onion for extra moisture and baked for 20 min in 350 degree oven then simmered in pasta sauce until ready to eat. Served as Meatball Subs with oven baked fries. Yum.

Really like this recipe. Instead of oil I lined a cassarole dish with foil with parchment paper to cut out calories from oil

Good made with ground turkey; added 1/2 cup grated carrot and made in loaf pan. Used plain diced salt free canned tomatoes instead of tomato sauce with it. Yummy!

I made this like a meatloaf like some of the people suggested. It was very good. I will make it again but next time I am going to try it with turkey and ground beef together.
