Jalapeno Sausage Poppers

If you like flavorful, spicy food this is a quick and easy snack, that's great for parties.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Pre-heat oven to 350 °F (175 °C).
  2. Cook sausage in pan and drain.
  3. Slice jalapenos open, clean out seeds and membrane.
  4. Mix sausage and cream cheese together well.
  5. Stuff jalapeno with mixture.
  6. Place on foil lined baking sheet, bake for 15-25 minutes (depending on how well you want them cooked).

I used turkey sausage and 1/3 less fat cream cheese and they were still excellent!!!!

THESE WERE T-RRIFIC! I MADE SOME WRAPPED IN BACON BOTH WITH AND WITHOUT SAUSAGE. GREAT FOR INDUCTION

Yummmmmmm If you want a bit more spice, leave a few seeds (depending on how hot you want them) in each pepper. Sometimes, instead of leaving the seeds in the peppers I will just put a few in the mixture prior to stuffing the peppers.

Deeeelish! Thanks for sharing. Here in no-mans-land Texas, they make these without the sausage. In place of it, they wrap a piece of bacon (probably have a slice) around it and grill them. Yum! The one you posted is uber deeelish too! Thank you!

These tasted good but for some reason the stuffing wouldn't stay in my pepper. LOL Messy but good. :)
