Ground Turkey and Four Bean Chili

Lots of beans and tomatoes...not a lot of oil or grease!

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Sauté onions and garlic in the olive oil in a large stew pot until tender.
  2. Add ground turkey and brown together, add chili powder and cayenne to the browning meat.
  3. Add tomato paste and refried beans and stir until combined.
  4. Add all other ingredients, cans of beans and tomatoes, salt and pepper and other sauces.
  5. Fill one empty can twice full of water and add to the pot.
  6. Stirring frequently, simmer for up to 5 hours for maximum flavor, or enjoy within 30 minutes.
  7. It only gets better the longer you cook it!

zOMG, this is THE BOMB. As an added bonus, we had tons of leftovers. Yay!

I would eliminate some of the canned tomatoes. The sodium content for one serving is really high.
