Garlic Soy Pork Chops

A simple recipe that makes delicious, juicy pork chops.

  1. Mix together the soy sauce, hoisin sauce, garlic, ginger, and pepper.
  2. Pour marinade into a large Ziploc bag.
  3. Place the pork chops into the bag, squeeze out most of the air, seal, and marinate for 12 hours in the refrigerator. Turn the bag over about halfway through.
  4. Broil on high heat on a broiling pan for about 5 minutes per side. Time will be different depending on the thickness of your chops.

I found this recipe on another site and modified it according to other users' comments and my own experience. It turns out pretty good! But I don't think I've gotten the broiling time quite right yet for the (admittedly, very thick) pork chops I use.

i'm sure this is very good... i'm confused as to why it has a five star rating on the Skinny Bitch diet though....

Doesnt soy sauce and hoisin sauce have a lot of sugar?
