Chili Macaroni

Spicy beef chili with macaroni makes the perfect meal in a bowl.



  1. Cook macaroni according to directions.
  2. While pasta is cooking, brown beef with chili powder .
  3. Add diced tomatoes and green chilies (like Ro-tel), stewed tomatoes and pinto beans.
  4. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  5. Combine pasta and beef mixture. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  6. Optional: top with sour cream or cheddar cheese.

This recipe as is needs a few extra spices to make it more like the tradtional Chili-Mac and give it more flavor.

This was really good, really easy to make. I did add a few more spices, cuman, garlic powder, pepper, little salt and more chili powder. (We like hot food) It was great. We topped it with cheddar and sour cream.

Why do none of the recipes give a serving size?

I agree with The Next Number and Spursgrrl. It would greatly help if we knew what a serving size for any of the recipes are. That aside this recipe does sound good and I can not wait to try it.
