A low carb snack that can be enjoyed as a main meal too.
Ingredients
Directions
- Pre-heat oven to 350 °F (175 °C).
- Cut wings to drumettes (the tips could be used to make broth).
- Mix the grated cheese and seasonings.
- Line a shallow baking pan with foil.
- Melt butter in a large bowl.
- Dip each drumette in butter, roll in seasoned cheese and place on foiled baking tray.
- Bake for 1 hour at 350 °F.

I did this and loved them. I was missing the crunch of breading, so I sprayed them with Pam instead of dipping in butter and made a thick coating of parmesan. They came out really crispy. A new fav

Love these wings... as a variation, I've crushed up pork rinds in the food processor and mixed the cheese 50/50 to the rinds and added seasoning like Old Bay and cayenne for some extra zing!

One serving here is approx 5 1/2 ounces of chicken wings when measured raw. The parm cheese in this was a really nice flavor addition! Great for Atkins, all stages.

I think the Nutrition Facts to the side are off. I think it is showing the nutrition for all 32 wings instead of breaking it in to the 6 servings.

For the crunch. I dip my wings in a egg batter then into crushed pork rinds. You can use BBQ or Spicy for some kick to them. And no extra carbs
