Baked Chicken with Mushrooms & Peppers

Super tasty and healthy chicken breast with sliced mushrooms and red or green peppers.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 °F (175 °C).
  2. Place the chicken breasts in a 9×13" baking dish.
  3. Sprinkle the chicken with the onion flakes.
  4. In a small bowl, combine the honey, soy sauce, and garlic powder; pour the mixture evenly over the chicken.
  5. Cover and bake for about 30 minutes.
  6. Spread the mushrooms and red or green peppers evenly over the chicken and continue to bake, covered, for about 20 more minutes (or until the mushrooms are tender).

Hubbs liked it but I found it a bit bland. This is the first recipe I don't think I will repeat. It wasn't bad it just wasn't good either.

I tryed this tonight for dinner it was good with the red pepper and honey is just exactly what I needed. I will use this recipe again.It was also easy to make. Also only 4 point plus value/

Very good!! I used green peppers instead of red and added some spice to it. The only thing I would change is maybe put it on a little rice!

I made this last night for dinner and my husband and I loved it! We like garlic so next time I will add in some garlic cloves for more garlic flavor. I also added a few more mushrooms since we love them. GREAT recipe, we will for sure make again! Thank you!
